About Town Travel Soccer Play
BYSC fields travel teams in AYSO for inter-town travel play and the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL) for competitive town travel play.
BYSC forms WYSL travel teams starting at U10 and higher and its U10 travel teams are single season teams.
WYSL U11 travel teams, once formed, are perpetual teams.
WYSL U11+ Travel teams are existing teams who add to their roster via an independent and open tryout process organized by the team's coaches and trainers.
Premier Level Travel
BYSC offers individuals or whole D1/D2 teams the opportunity to play premier travel with Briarcliff-based Perfect Touch Soccer Academy (PTSA), a US Club Soccer National Academy founded by Owen Scully, Briarcliff HS Girls Varsity Coach. PTSA trains BYSC teams today and runs summer camps and clinics.
Briarcliff WYSL teams who "graduate" from WYSL after D1 success can be migrated over. The Briarcliff Blaze 00 girls soccer team is an example of a team that has migrated to PTSA.
